Came to town and ran a few errands.  Between the accents and the attitudes, you can tell you are in the north. Its great! The Port Clinton Hotel is basically half bar and restaurant and half hotel. It has a common bathroom, no A/C, and a lot of local flavor.

The hike today was wet and rocky. The usual. The good thing was that we came upon the first White Birch trees of the hike. They are one of my favorite types of trees (along with the Blue Spruce and Aspen).

One more thing -- I finally got to have an authentic Philly Cheesesteak. It was giant and it was good. Mmm Mmm!
